Then, the first couple of years as a novice pianist condensed down to highlighting only the things you are actually going to use when improvising music. This is rudimentary and fundamental knowledge to build a strong base. Learn to use piano practice as a place to build your personal “vacation home space,” creating a place that is wonderful, peaceful, and healing to begin your meditation, wellness and piano practice simultaneously. you will be able to start building your musical vocabulary and a personal wellness toolbox using techniques for CBT, DBT and neurolinguistics from day one, giving you immediate tools to improve your mood.

Branch 2: The Logic of Music. Everything is learned in context. I present the material in a brain friendly way, using concepts from cognitive psychology, so your brain learns and absorbs information how it likes to learn. You will gain a unique understanding how music works by itself by following the Circle of Fourths , not the cycle of 5th, which is taught to everyone, using simple, memorable formulas that work like self working magic tricks and by using the most basic structure in harmony, the triad (or 3 note chord.)

This knowledge helps demystify music theory, and you will gain the confidence to start creating your own melodies, freeing you from the rigid structure of having to learn to read music (that’s right, you don’t need to read music to play the piano). As well as not using traditional methods taught almost everywhere in some form or another, like an app, that just repackages the same completely outdated method of learning and playing the piano.

Branch 3: Integration & Daily Improvement.
